I'm listening and I just had to stop and laugh when I heard "I don't know how affluent she was". Love it!
Rijst:
Yeah you guys are definitely getting the hang of podcasting there. I really enjoyed that episode, thanks for that!
I also feel the need to watch this movie now. How does it compare with The Thing? That's from '82 as well right? I remember seeing that for the first time and not having a clue what I was watching..

Yeah, The Thing is also from '82, but I can't really compare it to Xtro. The Thing is a totally badass and well-made movie with good acting and some of the most amazing practical special effects ever done. And of course it stars a bearded Kurt Russel. It's probably the best movie John Carpenter ever made. Probably the best remake ever made as well. Xtro, on the other hand, is a piece of shit, but it's at least interesting to look at. Oh, and it has a French babe who gets topless, so it at least has that over The Thing. Xtro has a very strong 'what the fuck' factor and would probably make for a good movie for you to watch with some pals. Er, mates.
Rijst:
Pals works! And beers, I feel this movie needs beers..
