Issue 4 - Rad As Hell - Page 2 - Captain Mordlich
Adam Dravian:
We toyed with the idea of Mordlich gaining a crew that was completely female, but instead we opted to give him some minions inspired by villains from the He-Man and She-Ra cartoons. Which, like lots of ‘80s cartoons, were glorified toy commercials (with a moral lesson tossed in so they could technically qualify as educational content).
What’s weird about the She-Ra toys is that the dude figures used the same scale as He-Man and the Masters of the Universe toys, which totally makes sense, since they’re in the same franchise. But someone made the boneheaded decision to make the toys of She-Ra and the other she-babes in a totally different scale. More like a Barbie doll.
So if you were an ‘80s kid and you wanted to have your She-Ra toy fight her nemesis Hordak, you’d have to deal with the awkwardness of She-Ra towering over the villain. It’s just a mortifying situation for all involved.

Is Mordlich an eternal punster? He's quite possibly my favourite character if that's the case!

Yeah, Mordy's a cranky undead misogynistic punster. He just might have a little Crypt Keeper in his DNA...
Red:
Woe behold Eddie if this Mordlich ever caught up to him...! :O :O :O

He would just round-house kick him in the face!
