Satan Ninja's 2nd form originally had completely different pixel art, but Jessica and I weren't satisfied with it, so she redid it. Also, we considered changing the boss's name to something like "Demon Ninja" because we didn't want readers to get the impression that the comic is named after the final boss of the Double Dudes game. But fuck that, he's Satan Ninja.

The bottom panel of Eddie being "in the zone" is one of my favorite panels so far.

I found out somewhat recently that the whole secondary-face-in-the-belly thing is actually a feature Satan has historically been depicted with. At the time I drew this page, I was just pulling influence from different game sprites from the 80s.
