The fact that it's left up to my imagination just how graphically brutal the ninja's chest is torn apart by the blade makes it all the more horrific.

Gregg Samsa:
It drives me crazy, I know I played some Ninja beat'em-up with the Ninja Gaiden Game Over screen, but it's a giant spike being lowered into the character's chest. I had played it at some rest stop - apparently Fatal Fury 3 has one similar, but it didn't look familiar when I watched it.

Rick4781:
I was really into ninjas when I was a kid too.  It spurred me into learning Karate and winning several championships.  And it inspired you to write, which I guess is pretty cool.

I never played "Ninja" for NES because it sorta looked boring, but I played plenty of Ninja Gaiden.  Yeah, that game was a bit challenging.  I beat it though.

Rijst:
We had a commodore 64! Come to think of it, it had a ninja game but I guess I was a little too young to figure out how to do this at the time.

I only know Ninja Gaiden from the Xbox game though, which I loved to bits. We didn't get any arcade halls where I'm from..
