But what better way to start off the new year than with Eddie getting his ass kicked?

Yes! I've been un-patently waiting.
So that fight seemed to go as we all predicted. Glad Eddie only got wet not burned.
Dean is a bit over the top at the end talking about more blow. I like it.

Glad things are better now with Jessica. Poor Eddie, he probably can't afford new glasses..
He was asking for it, but then so is Dean. Who's the knight in shining armor white shorts who threatens to beat up Dean (and is still calmly walking towards him in panel 6)?
Edit: Eddie's face in panel 3 is great. I wonder what he's thinking at that point. Oh shit, or something along the lines of I should've done more sit-ups..

That's Heather's boyfriend, Ryan. We haven't given him much of a proper introduction, but he's the guy who asked Joe about whether dude aliens get boners.

Oh yeah. Ryan will be a recurring character. I'm actually really looking forward to some of his future scenes, but I'm getting ahead of myself.
Ryan's first appearance is on the Connor's Pool Party page (https://satanninja.com/comic/satan-ninja-198x/issue-2-party-like-it-s-198x/page-19), where he's in the background playing "chicken" with Heather on his shoulders. You can see Ryan clearly for the first time on the first panel of the To the Moon page (https://satanninja.com/comic/satan-ninja-198x/issue-2-party-like-it-s-198x/page-23#comic).

Adam and I had actually wondered about Ryan's weak introduction as I'd been working on these pages. We've talked about making slight revisions to improve it, because it's been bugging both of us.

Impressive action on this page! Almost expected Eddie's pants to split after a kick like that! Holy Flaming Pig Roast!

That went about as well as Eddie could have hoped. Also hoping we see more of Ryan, since he seems to be a real stand-up dude in the face of bunch of wacked-out punks.
The colors continue to dazzle and the action has not disappointed one bit.
Babe Alert: It says a lot about the sexiness of these ladies by the fact that they still have obviously sexualized figures even from a distance (bottom row).

Some of my favorite future scenes involve Ryan.

Glad you're digging the action. I might have mentioned this somewhere before, but prior to starting this comic, Jessica had almost never drawn action sequences, so it's still kind of new ground for her.

I actually think Veronica might be boobing just a little too hard in that panel, and could use a little toning down. Man, that was hard for me to type, but I want her proportions to remain mostly consistent.
