A few years ago I started to read all the big silver-age Marvel comics in chronological order, starting with the first issue of the Fantastic Four in the early '60s, and I was amazed to learn just how many notable characters Stan Lee had a hand in creating--most within the span of a few years. I wouldn't be surprised if he's created/co-created more truly iconic pop culture fictional characters than any other person.

The dude led a full-as-fuck life and left behind an astounding legacy.

Edit: Also, as I've mentioned before, though it wasn't intentional, it seems that I must've been subconsciously inspired by Spider-Man when I was creating Satan Ninja 198X, as the similarities are too numerous to deny. So I suppose the existence of this rad comic is owed in part to Stan Lee.

I was going to ask if you were inspired by any of Stan Lee's work, but you already answered that. Great stuff. I mean, his body of work is so huge he must have influenced most everyone in the comic book business at this point, one way or another. RIP Stan Lee
