I agree Jess's art work should be viewed on the big screen.  I do not have internet at home right now and couldn't resist looking at the new page when it was posted.  I did reread as soon as I got to work though.

I happened to log into the forum the other night using my cell phone.  I was pleasantly surprised it worked well.  Many websites are a mess but yours is pretty cool.

I was totally surprised to see Alex flipping into the page.  It's way over the top but I think it works well. 

Oh man, her chest does look way too defined in her gi! They were actually bothering me, mostly in panel 11, but I just tried not to worry about it and get the page done. But you're totally right: a gi simply wouldn't hang like that on her. I must have been in boob mode from drawing the other girls or something. That's such a mistake I made in my early teens, always making girls have these super defined boobs even when they're supposed to be wearing loose fitting clothes. This can go on the list of little fixes I should make before going to print, along with some weird mistakes with the tiny bounty hunter's costume a few pages back. As early readers, you guys are like our beta testers. Your payment is getting to have these odd early mistakes captured for you. Future readers won't get to see Alex's weirdly defined boobs on the site anymore.

I thought they were a little crazy too. You'll get it down.

We obviously indulge in a lot of '80s stuff, but most of it doesn't lend itself well for reviews. After I see a mediocre movie, I don't feel too compelled to write about it. I also want to avoid reviewing '80s classics that everyone has already seen. I'd rather bring the more obscure stuff to light. Or maybe I'll just do a mini review for such movies, if I feel like I've got something to say about it.

While I'd hate to see a bunch of blogs about every popular 80's movie, I do think it would be cool to see some on things that may have inspired some of the writing or even an interest in a particular style or something of those lines.  I also think Jess should do blog posts but I'd hate to take her away from the artwork.

I've heard that song many time but I think that may have been the first time I've seen the video.  Very interesting stuff.  It also inspired me to go watch other new wave vids.  I prefer Flock Of Seagulls over Devo though. 


Now that that's done I don't need to hear anymore new wave 80's shit for another couple of years.  Back to Rock & Roll and Blues

Well this is one of my favorite pages in a while.  I like that it improves upon the character development of Eddie which has been slow but reasonably so. 

Snacky is a total surprise, did not expect Eddie to be a pig guy. 

Babes: I'm still thinking Heather on this page especially in the 3rd and 4th panel, Jess you did amazing with her expression.  She says so much without saying a thing.

I do think she's attractive but I'm waiting for more of the typical 80's young female transformation to make Eddie open his eyes.

So I've been hoping the hard copies come out sooner than later, and I've also hoped for maybe individual autographed pages. I have recently been thinking and what may also go well for you guys at comic shows is maybe some apparel with some of Jess's bad ass art on it.
