I really thought the affirmation was a universal English-speaking thing, well there you go then! "Jolly" also works well, jolly good, jolly nice, etc.

Moving on though, I like the way the stars look. I also think the way Ket is drawn (light shading, the way the seats look comfy-yet-solid, etc.) reminds me a bit of the 80s X-men comics I used to have somewhere. Maybe that's also because Vektoria looks a bit like Storm (I must've said this before). Is that on purpose?

No worries, "bloody" is about as stereotypically British as it comes. I'm also a huge fan of the word grotesque by the way, which may or may not be very British but should still be used as much as possible. Other than that only a few people will be familiar with 80s British slang. Use the word 'banter' for a more contemporary feel haha.

Speaking of the "Veronica and Punks" segment, that was the first one I wrote, about a year ago. Originally, this promo was going to be more of a short movie where the punks would actually harass her and then the "Satan Ninja" would come to her rescue and slice them up, chopping off a head and at least one arm. But then Kung Fury came out and we realized that our short little live-action Satan Ninja movie would seem really lackluster following in the wake of that. So that's when I decided to re-write it to turn the promo into a series of cheesy '80s-inspired commercials for the comic.

This is awesome, you guys put so much work into this!

Too much, actually. Focusing on getting this promo done has caused me to neglect the horror novel I had meant to release this October. It's pretty much ready to go, but now I feel a little silly releasing a book called Grim October in November. But my only other option is to sit on it for a whole year. Shit.

That is a shitty dilemma, could you release it for Christmas perhaps?

We've chopped it up and re-uploaded it as individual commercials, which I think will be less intimidating to casual viewers than a near-10 minute video. I also think we made a mistake with the order we placed the commercials in with the full compilation I posted to the site. We placed the most surreal and least accessible commercial first, when it should've been last.

Yeah I prefer the new order better to be honest. I think my favourite one is where the girl walks down the alleyway and gets a lecture about "what he's got" haha!

With a ball perhaps, haha! It's a nice throw however, I don't think I could pull it off. Is Sam going to join him in his ninja adventures?

Oh, that was actually from the behind the scenes documentary we're making, Satan Ninja Unmasked, which explores the day to day lives of your typical extremely nerdy yet attractive couple who dedicate their lives to creating a radical '80s-themed comic for a couple dozen people to read and enjoy.

Typical? Not sure man, that wig is outrageous..

Haha well you're not as bad as George R.R. Martin yet, and a lot better looking to boot. But like he said, once it's out nobody cares how long it took, only if it's good or not (or something along those lines anyway).

If only that quote always rang true. For instance, in the case of my decade-long delayed album, The EverDead's fan-base had long-since moved on (understandably so), so it was released to an almost non-existent reception. But by that point, I was expecting as much and was releasing it more for my own sense of closure than anything. But yeah, there's definitely truth to the idiom of striking while the forge is hot.

Fair enough. I guess time lines are different for novels and music albums as well. Please don't take 10 years for SN8X..
