Well I'm coming in late but this is so far my favorite page of Issue 3.

Coming off the last panel of 2 pages ago.  Where Alex is taking off her coat with that challenge.   I thought that this is the 1st step of the Alex transformation I predicted way back in issue 2.  She looks confident, less nerdy. The way she can't wait to get physical with Eddie. This page is everything I was hoping for in that fight.

Jess you did amazing on Alex's facial expression, especially the panel right before Grandma comes out and the almost horrified embarrassed look to finish the page.  I really like that panel before Grandma though, kind of a moment for those two well at least for Alex.

Thanks a lot! I'm so glad people ended up liking it so much since I was always a little worried about it being too cringey (it still makes me cringe a little bit!). And I'm glad you said "well at least for Alex," because I'd been wondering how well I'd pulled off portraying her to be the worked up one and Eddie coming off as being more oblivious.

You did amazing with it.  I'm guessing this is a tough emotion to express in art as in real life I'm sure the emotion and body language would change rapidly but I think this could be a key page in the story if the comic follows the progression I hope it will.

Pretty awesome Satan Ninja 198x is already being appreciated enough to be added to someone else's project.

I really like the confidence Trance shows here.  Playing it as smooth as a teenager can.

Ok it's been awhile  since I've posted but trust me I've been reading every week.

This page rocks.  I like Alex's standards for evaluating his strength.

The Wait is officially over!

Page one is awesome. Love seeing Eddie's realization kick in.  Think fast is just what I expect from Sam.

I was so stoked to watch this.  Loved it all.  Shared with facebook, youtube/G+.  I hope this takes off.

So is the plan to release these as individual "commercials" for advertising purposes to say youtube/adsense?

Can't wait for page 1

Okay have not watched or heard about any of this yet, but you did mention Miami Vice so I will be doing that at the first chance I get.  I'll be back with my review that expect will be negative lol.

Nah, you might like it, dude. After all, if you can enjoy shows with ultra generic shit writing like the Suite Life of Zack and Cody, then I'd think that a show with mediocre writing like Moonbeam City would be up your alley.  ;)

Well you got me with the Suite Life lol.  So Moonbeam city was not my thing at all.  I did start to like the second half more than the first half but I'm not sure if I'll watch another episode.

Yeah IV was pretty awful compared to the rest.  I agree not a true sequal but it does look good.  Like I said though just closer to Rambo 5 and I cant wait.

So I was at the movies last night and I saw the trailer for the new Rocky film.

As I said before I'm not a huge Rocky fan but this new movie looks awesome.  It will be starring Michael B. Jordan who was in one of my favorite TV show's "The Wire".  Basically Jordan play's Apollo's son and Rocky trains him to fight.

So some great Sly Stone shit coming our way.  Hopefully Rambo is not too far behind.

I didn't know you were writing a novel Adam? Care to share any details with us?

It's something I started writing over a decade ago, but it's gone through so many changes since then that it's basically a different book. In short, it's a horror story that mostly takes place in 1989, about a teen who moves to a small town in Michigan where some supernatural stuff goes down. It's not nearly as silly in tone as Satan Ninja, as it's based much more in reality, but it's not entirely devoid of humor, either.

I can say I am lucky enough to have read this awesome creation,  though im sure it's undergone some changes since then.  I can say that it is totally bad ass and worth the read.  I'm totally looking forward to its release finally.

As for longer wait on issue 3....LAME.....lol j/k guys it'll totally be worth the wait

Yes it's not 80's but I do think that it relates enough to the Satan Ninja project that I thought I'd share this here.

This board is "Discuss Anything" not "Discuss Anything '80s-Related", so no worries.

Anyway, that's awesome news that the Preacher TV series is finally getting made. I know it's been in pre-production hell for years. But I tend to be a purist when it comes to things I'm a fan of, so I'm already a little annoyed to see they've cast a British guy as Jessie (who's supposed to be Texan), a half-black chick who grew up in Ireland and England as Tulip (who's supposed to be a white blonde chick from the American south), and the dude playing Cassidy (an Irish vampire) is British. But I'll give the show a chance. Hopefully they can pull off the right accents.

I'm also a bit unsure of how I feel about all of that.  I get the concept that the comic is just a basis for the TV adaptation but I would have really loved to see something more pure in form.  That said I'm still  looking forward to this.
