Issue 4 - Rad As Hell - Page 1 - Exploding Space Pirates
« on: October 13, 2017, 10:59:44 PM »

And so our hiatus ends, along with Xoddam’s reign as the self-proclaimed king of the pirates. As many of you know, Xoddam was a thinly veiled cameo of our friend Maddox. It was always our intention that his character would meet a brutal demise at this point, so this isn’t meant to be any sort of slight against him--we love Maddox. In fact, Jessica did several illustrations for his upcoming book, F*ck Whales (which comes out Oct. 17th).

Wasn't he called Xoddam first? I guess he's not Ket's love interest then?

It's good to see the comic active again. Bone dude certainly knows how barge into a space ship gracefully!

Agreed.

Oh man, a babe alert! Just about brings a nostalgic tear to my eye.

Shit, you're right. I just corrected his name in my original post. And nope, Ket's love interest is obviously Corey.

Can't wait to see how this'll turn out...!

All I can promise is that it'll be rad as hell.

Mordlich healed up quite nicely.  He either had access to a kick-ass health care facility or he was able to use his magic powers to heal himself.  Anyways, I just bought the Kindle version of Fuck Whales, and so far it's pretty funny.  Too bad about Xoddam, I really thought that he and Ket had a nice thing going.  Oh well.

Regeneration magic. If you look back at the final panels of Issue 3 Page 7, you can see him starting to reform already.

He said he'd mail us a copy, but we haven't gotten it yet. I think Jessica has six illustrations in it. Maddox had her do all her pieces in black and white line art with a kind of 1950s style.
