Discuss Anything / Ideas for DUDE SHINOBI sprite art
« on: June 19, 2015, 03:06:13 PM »
No doubt the DUDE SHINOBI video game is big in this comic, but I've always wondered how it plays out.

From what I seen and heard, it's got a Double Dragonesque, Ninja Gaidenish feel to it. I was wondering if you can incorporate the infamous "Game Over" screen from the Ninja Gaiden arcade game (where Ryu Hayabusa is strapped to a table as a buzzsaw lowers toward him) and have DS be the sacrifice instead.

Nostalgia is very huge. Lots of 80s elements are out there, Explore them all at your own leisure.

Discuss Anything / My own custom DEMON HAMMER CD
« on: May 24, 2015, 01:11:04 AM »
This might not show up because of the picture size guidelines, but with my MS Paint, I upgraded the DEMON HAMMER album cover to have a bitchin' metal logo like all the other heavy metal acts of the 80s.

I had to write the tracks and titles in the most metal fonts to give it that Satanic vibe! I also included a fun fine print with subliminal messages added for extra shock value! If you wish to make your own DEMON HAMMER cover, use my pictures free of charge, but give me credit in return. I don't want to unleash the minions of Lucifer upon your weary wayward soul!

What is Wrathgar anyway? Is it like the Rygar game we know of?

Discuss Anything / Karate Kickstarter
« on: February 03, 2015, 02:58:18 PM »
With Satan Ninja 198X becoming a good series to read online, have you ever thought about putting it on Kickstarter?

Once the series is finished, you can make it like a real-live comic for people to buy on Kickstarter. Also, if you can find programmers, a game of Dude Shinobi like what I previous mentioned in a forum post.

Maybe YouTubers might make an independent movie off of this. Hopefully this idea will smell a knockout like Hai Karate.

Discuss Anything / Satan Ninja 201X?
« on: January 23, 2015, 11:31:45 PM »
Satan Ninja 198X is great fun for all, but after this whole story gets finished, what would happen?

Perhaps after the entire series gets finished, you'd make Satan Ninja 201X to see what are things like nowadays. Right now, it's too early for development, but given thought it might work.

I've had those stomach bugs myself. They were nasty! Still, I wish her the best and a safe recovery.

Discuss Anything / "Karate Rap"
« on: December 08, 2014, 05:24:42 PM »
I saw a weird 80s music video on YouTube called "Karate Rap". It's got that cheesy 80s vibe like most videos have showcasing karate. The whole production was filmed by Samurai Studios and sung by a band called Samurai.

Get a look at it on YouTube and you'll agree this is something in the line of the "Satan Ninja 198X" guideline, especially for Alex.

Discuss Anything / Dude Shinobi Homebrews
« on: December 01, 2014, 10:07:44 PM »
Seeing Dude Shinobi being played in the arcades as shown in the comic, I was thinking on if someone were to make an actual Dude Shinobi beat-em-up fighting game for old school consoles like the NES, SNES, Genesis/Mega Drive and others.

With homebrew games popping up like wildfire, it would be something to see a real Dude Shinobi game created for fun. Of course, it has to have the standards of all games like items, enemies and bosses. Fun stuff.

What do you think?

Even though it has a Duke Nukem feel, Duke Nukem is 90s. This is all about the 80s.

The way I read about Duke Shinobi is almost G.I. Joe-esque like a cross between Duke and Snake-Eyes.

Still has an awesome feel to it.
